Today we are going to show you part number A30404 from SportRack. What we have here is a folding 4-bike carrier for 1-1/4 inch and 2-inch receiver hitches. And this model is the SportRack Escape 4. And we will go ahead and install this on a typical 2-inch receiver hitch and show you how it works. To show you how to convert this to a 1-1/4 inch receiver, it is pretty easy. This bushing is basically a press-on fit. So you can just take a screwdriver and just kind of pry it away a little bit and it comes apart. And there you have it, it is ready for a 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch. Next we will go ahead and install it on a typical 2-inch receiver hitch. When you install it in the receiver hitch you actually have two options. You actually have two threaded holes in the shank to go ahead and install your hitch bolt to go into it. You have about a 2-inch difference between the two holes, so you have enough room between different hitch and bumper combinations. Just take your hitch bolt and it just threads right in. And let us go ahead and tighten it down - use a three-quarter wrench. And then you can install your safety pin on the other side. Next we will show you the tilt feature of this bicycle rack.
